When I was in college, my professor read a children's book to us. I have no idea what the book was called and I wish I could remember where I have written it down. I will give the best details that I can remember.

The book was definitely elementary level, not a chapter book and maybe on the K-3 grade level.
I think that the book was about bullying, or being different or standing up for yourself (something in that topic area).
It was not about children, it was about a mouse or a possum or some type of animal.
I'm almost positive that the book used funny/ silly words and the main character may even have had a funny name.
I also think, actually I'm pretty positive, that the story took place at school.
