I'm going to do a project I found on here a few years ago.

I'll get some ceramic tiles from Home Depot. The ones that are maybe 5 inches or so on each side. One for each kid. The kids can draw and write on them using colored sharpies. Then just spray it with a clear coat of sealant stuff. I can't remember exactly what it was called right now.

The tiles are fairly inexpensive and one can of spray is plenty for my class. It makes a great personalized keepsake. I did it with my 2nd graders a couple of years ago and they loved it.
