Seems counterproductive to require us to cancel a job to get sick pay. Just complicates things. My old job as a cashier just paid us once a year for our sick pay. That makes sense. No games. No having to call in sick and cause problems to get the sick pay. No hassles to get the shift covered. Makes too much sense for the government, I guess.
