I believe some states also have their own version of extending UI for those that run out of their initial claim, but you would have to go through the 13 week extension first.
It seems like some people end up not having a delay in benefits when applying for the 13 weeks, and some have to call in and talk to a specialist. I am just going on the feedback I get from UI Facebook groups I am in.
I think Congress will have to pass something as the eviction moratorium needs to be extended. I am not expecting any actual money until early October at the earliest, because I assume a package will get done in the first two weeks of Sept and it will take up to a month to transfer that money to the states UI offices.
