I am a teaching assistant teaching in a fully remote setting right now. When there is full group instruction, I sit quietly and take notes to make sure I understand the material to help the student I am in charge of. Then I work with him in a breakout room during asynchronous time. We are using zoom so breakout rooms can be made. I do like the idea of setting her up with her own google meet to help strugglers though. Also tell her not to interrupt while you are giving full group instruction. I would never dream of doing that. Mute her if she won’t and maybe that will send her a message.
