Clip to ScrapBook #7

During the first week of school I send home a tagboard cut-put of a student (similar to the student puzzle pieces). The students, for their first week of homework, decorate it to look like themselves with their family (real pictures, glitter, yarn, etc.). Then I make a construction paper name plate (laminated) to put underneath. I attach this to the top of a vertical piece of construction paper. This then becomes their own work display. It fills my big wall and since I attach their work with thumbtacks to the construction papere it is very easy to change. This year I decided to have the students decorate a tagboard fish (for my ocean theme) and my title for my wall will be "A School of "Fintastic" Writers". My other big wall is my word wall... so as pp stated, that is an option too!

I was finally able to attach a picture of an example. The file was too big unless I cropped only one students out... I cant figure this attaching part out!!
