Clip to ScrapBook #2

Our Title 1 teachers put on a very nice famil literacy night this spring. It was called "Passport to Literacy." Each family had their own passport which they got stamped at the various activities they visited. I helped direct people to the different areas, so don't really remember all the activities. This is what I can come up with now:
*making bookmarks
*a drama center with costumes and a little "stage"
*game room
*one room had a family story center. They took a family picture and the families wrote a bit about themselves (don't remember the details, but it was neat)
*storyteller

I don't remember what else they had, but I know it was are most well-received family night. It was motivating for the families to make it to all of the activities to get all of their pages stamped.
