Dear Claire22,
With my 3rd graders I read Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Then after we finshed the class brainstormed ideas on what they wanted to do. Like Don't let the Pigeon go to the Mall with my Credit Card. They they wrote and drew books that follwed the same pattern as Mo Willam's writing. They came out really cute and I showed them to the parnets at Open House.
