"Unlock the Doors to Poetry". I made six small brown rectangular doors out of construction paper. Each door had a round yellow door knob, a different emotion word on it (humor, love, questioning, etc.), and a piece of clipart depicting the emotion (I will try to find the clipart I used and send you that).

I displayed student poetry in the middle of the board in between the doors (three on each side of the board). I put a different color of construction paper behind each students' poem to add a bit of color.

Lastly, I hung yellow paper keys (find at the dollar store or print off clipart) in the corners of every other piece of poetry.

I did take pictures, I will go look for them and postthem too if I find them.
