Im moving and Had to leave my NYCDOE school counselor position. I luckily got a school counselor position where I moved but it’s much different than the city sc duties. In the NYCDOE your primary job is seeing mandates, and risk, middle school applications and if there’s time community building. My new school you don’t have that just classroom education, parent outreach and programming. I’m not fully sure how to start the year off and start programming/parent outreach. Any tips?
