Clip to ScrapBook #1

THIS was my inspiration. I started with Canson XL Watercolor Paper for the layer to be painted. I cut it with the largest of the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies. I stamped All is calm, all is bright from Divinity Designs (aka Our Daily Bread Designs) Perfect Light set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used my MISTI stamping tool to make them all in the same place and perfectly straight. I mixed a dark blue and white from Kuretake Gansi Tambi Watercolor set to paint the background section. Since it's watercolor, they were all similar, yet all unique. I sprayed once with Sparkle Shimmer Spritz Spray. I let those dry overnight. (I made 20.)

My side-fold card bases are with MFT Whip Cream cardstock which is a perfect match to the off-white watercolor paper. I attached the top (painted) layer. I used an old lever-punch by Sizzix (can't find a link) of a 1.75" wide star on Doodlebug Lily White Sugar Coated Cardstock. I bought the fine glittery cardstock at Hobby Lobby. I used Park Lane small adhesive foam squares to pop the star up.

Inside sentiment (also from Perfect Light) May the light and hope of the Savior's birth be with you today and always and Merry Christmas from Divinity Designs Christmas Mini set.
