I would say no, a Kiln heats pottery clay at a low rising of temp. and it also get a lot hotter than your over or your toaster oven would get. I don't know what it would do to either the clay or the oven but I couldn't imagine it would be good.......

If you just let the clay dry from the air for quite awhile it will eventually get hard but it wouldnt be as nice as it would if it fired in a kiln

sometimes you can find littler kilns at ruggage sales or even at a swap meet, heck or just look on craigslist.. enjoy your clay
