From their perspective, I don't think this is an unreasonable question to ask. They were told that their child would be IN school a certain number of hours a week and getting a certain type of education (i.e., direct instruction from a teacher, PE, music, social time with friends, SPED minutes, etc.). Now the instruction is all virtual and a lot of them see themselves as taking over the role of teacher. That is not what they were told their property taxes would pay for.

I am not saying that they are 100% right, but it makes sense why they would ask this, especially since we all know that many of the kids aren't even doing the virtual learning.
