Clip to ScrapBook #7

We aren't doing temperature checks at all. We are sending home children and staff with any sort of symptoms (driving the boss mad, as we have NO subs, so it just ends up being MORE people in a classroom for the day) but, as you've all said, once there are symptoms, it's too late. The horse has bolted.

Our government is relying on the dream that children don't carry or spread the virus and, if they happen to, individual schools will be closed on an "as needed" basis for a deep clean. Except the cleaners have no instructions whatever about this (my husband is a school cleaner, I hear what goes on).

We have parents doing the same old trick of dosing the kid with Panadol at 8am, so they at least get a child free morning (kid is sent home when they crash at 12 when the med wears off). While we feel safe enough in our little outback bubble, it is very easily compromised when people are travelling to the cities, as they are starting to do (Melbourne is about a 7 hour drive, Sydney 9 hours - not that far).
