Clip to ScrapBook #6

I'm sorry for the lack of quality in your education. Unfortunately, this is more and more common every day. I suspect that with everything being moved online now, this trend will continue to worsen.

The good news is that clearly, you already learned to advocate for yourself, as evidenced by your request for assistance about the other professor as well as the collaboration with your colleagues. You will need this skill in teaching more than any other.

Please do not be discouraged by the lack of support: this is very common. When you begin working as a teacher, you will need to continue to advocate for yourself and your colleagues. Finding receptive and kind co-workers will be key, but rest assured that there are plenty of great teachers who love to help out someone like you!
