Random Acts of Kindness in Honor of Charlotte Bacon, Age 6
Old 12-16-2012, 05:09 AM
Clip to ScrapBook #1

Tammynj had a great idea, she thought that the acts of kindness ought to be in honor of the victims with each day being dedicated to a different person.

If you feel moved to do so, please commit a small, random act of kindness in honor of Charlotte Bacon, Age 6.

This is what our local paper had to say about Charlotte:

Charlotte was an outgoing girl with curly red hair. She wore her new pink Christmas dress and boots to school on Friday. She had her hair done specially for the end of the school week. She was so excited to wear her new dress on Friday. The family had lived in Newtown for 4 or 5 years. Her uncle described Charlotte as a person who was going to go places in this world.
Please do an act of kindness in Charlotte's memory today. Each day we will post the name and some information about the person being honored..

Remember, it doesn't have to be big, you can return carts to the cart return in the grocery store parking lot so that they aren't blocking the parking spaces.

You could light a candle in church today.

$2.14 buys Christmas dinner for a homeless person at the NYC Rescue Mission.

You could drop off some toiletries at a local shelter or veteran's home.

For $12.58 you can purchase toys for two children through the Salvation Army's outreach to the children of prisoners.

Remember, it doesn't have to be big, it just has to be kind.

Thank you.
