Your mentor teacher is an enabler. I would suggest you become very diplomatic
About this. Talk to your mentor teacher. Ask her for suggestions and try them. You have only four months to go. It might be too late to get out. Talk to your college supervisor and ask for pointers. That's what they are there for. I bailed out after my first stint in student teaching. I had a control freak and I didn't want to deal with her. My second time that I tried it, It was much better. The two mentor teachers I worked with were much easier to work with, especially the second one. She became a principal. Your mentor teacher seems to be part of the problem regarding lack of discipline in schools.
