Clip to ScrapBook #4

We sent out items and ideas to families with the intention to maintain and/or reinforce current content mastery at all levels. We have no expectations beyond that.

We will not collect or grade these items. They are a combination of the online/digital, hands-on tasks and paper packets.

Even in SpEd, my lowest students can do some of that at home.

This way it gives the students something to do when they need it but doesn't unnecessarily penalize those who cannot. It maintains current mastery but doesn't expect them to conquer new concepts or material without assistance.

Now, if it goes beyond these initial 3 weeks off, it may not be sufficient. But we were already three weeks into the 4th quarter. We are in the home stretch already. We shall see.
