I just want to get a spot to vent and gripe!

I have been the go to for the emotionally traumatized kids at my school for years, for the "problem" kids, for the challenging kids, the kids who are receiving services, the kids who are struggling academically... I am used to it and just deal. Last year for the first time in over 9 years I got a sweet group of kids where the traumatized and challenging count did not get close to the kids who are well behaved, hard working sweethearts! It was really nice, every day I would go in and seriously appreciate those children!

This year our classes are actually evenly balanced (the two receiving teachers from two different grade levels are now in the same grade), but both classes of my grade level are difficult classes, then low and behold I now have a new kid who is, well... Anyway I am already exhausted and stressed. I really like the kids so far, but I know how hard it can be and it makes me tired especially after having a year off of it after so many years dealing!
