Clip to ScrapBook #7

You can paint! Start with oils because you can fix every mistake. Find a teacher or watch youtubes online.
I started watching Bob Ross paint when he was alive and on PBS, then I took a few lessons at an art store, then went on to join a class with a private teacher.
It isn't about creating a piece for a museum, it is the wonderful zen that comes while you paint. And you start actually seeing everything in nature in a new way. You will become aware of how everything changes color all the time.
Try it.
No matter what your ability or level, get a few good brushes, and some decent paint. Not the most expensive, just not the cheapest. Look for something, a post card, a photo or anything else and copy that first before you try to arrange a still life or paint from life yourself.
You can do it.
