Clip to ScrapBook #2

Sounds familiar! I graduated college about 25 yrs ago... I taught for two years before raising a family and then taught in private preschool for many years , then did other jobs. Recently returned to teach about 3 yrs ago.

The changes from back when I first taught till now are dramatic. Technology for oneó not my strong point..but in my opinion the work is overwhelming, and can be all consuming. I have been trying and struggling since coming back to balance this out but have not figured it out yet. Iím giving myself one more year and if I canít rein it in I will be finding a different job. I do feel that expectations are greater than what they used to be, more teaching to the test and more observations from administrators with almost unreachable standards.
Whatever you decide, all the best to you!
