aspergers IEP goals

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I have a student in my learning support classroom who was just tested for autism. He came up as high functioning aspergers. He also has emotional disturbance. I did his academic goals, but was told I have to do life skills goals. Isn't that for the OT/PT to do? The speech teacher made it very clear it is not her job, but that it has to be put into his IEP. Since it seems to be on me, could anyone help me? I've never done life skills goals before. I've tried to look up samples on the web, but can't seem to find ones for him. Or maybe I really just don't understand it completely. TIA
