Please help me boycott Levi's jeans

I'm done with Levi's. They don't speak to me as a consumer. Please, my abdominal awning prevents me from finding the button to undo the waistband, but a button fly too? Inconceivable. That's not a pair of jeans made for me and my sedentary lifestyle curvature. Now I see there's a problem with Levi's jeans for curvy women.

Look at that ad, will you. That is NOT a celebration of today's curvy woman. I'm outraged. How dare those models pose with their arms crossed. I have no idea what their boobs are like now.

Yes - the ad does NOT show curvy women!

But I am not sure about boycotting Levis because there are other brands that work. Have you tried Not Your Daughter jeans? Yes they are pricy but I apple shaped and have a terrible time finding pants. These work for me but remember that you may need to try on several styles to find what works for you. Good luck!

know what a curvy woman looks like - OBVIOUSLY!

Oh, how I wish I were one of those supposedly "curvy" women!

Every time I pull on my Levi's jeans for curvy women (yes, I really have a pair and yes I am really curvy unlike the women in the ad) I will think about my "ABDOMINAL AWNING" That is awesome. Much better than "muffin top".

*sorry you couldn't get a glimpse of their boobs*

I understand your frustration, but I can't support a boycott of Levis. They are the only jeans my DH wears. Stupid man does not have an awning---damn him!

I wish I had such curves!!!!

Abdominal awning??

I also wish I were one of those curvy women. Just today, I finally found a pair of jeans that fit: Real Straight by Gap. Yep, the two words that perfectly describe my figure.

I have been boycotting them for years. They discriminate against those of us with no butt. They have "skinny", and "regular", and "curvy" . . . but not a single "no #ss" in the bunch. Luckily I have large boobs to redirect the eyes from my baggy butt pants.

Sorry. Too much NyQuil tonight.

Wow. If that's "curvy," then I must be "mountainous!" And I am much less than a size 14, but I am certainly NOT a size double 0 or whatever those ladies were.

I tend to stay away from levis in general. I do have a pair that fits well, but it's the only one. Most of them seem to be built for those who have no butt, no hips, and no "awning" (I've always called it my c/s flap, but I think awning is much nicer...)

(ha, and I love that the ad I see is for the competition-- lee jeans! They actually do fit me, I like them in "tall")
