Some help - game for mental retardation

Hi,
I am taking a two courses in SpEd and we were asked to adapt a simple game for a specific curricular area for a classroom in which an individual with mental retardation is included. The emphasis should be on adaptations and instructional strategies to ensure that the needs of the child with mental retardation are met.

we must plan to use one or more of the following active student responding techniques: choral responding, response cards, guided notes, time trials or peer partnering.

Any help, advice anyone can give would be very much appreciated.
