supplement, NOT
supplant, current SpEd funding. If you look up the word
supplant it means something about taking by force or a forced substitution or something similar.
It meant that they have to use it for SpEd ONLY and it could NOT be used for a current existing or ongoing cost--like our salaries, or current classroom budgets. They also had to sign an agreement to that effect and show supporting documentation if requested.
I got a Smartboard, laptop, a new Reading curriculum and my own sets of TEs, online support, books, supplemental books and workbooks for our schoolwide math series--CURRENT ones--not old leftover ones from storage.
