Progress Monitoring

You know, when we first started progress monitoring in our district with DIBELS, I was overjoyed. For once, I had a way to show my students' progress. I never felt so successful in my career.
Move ahead about six or seven years, and I'm starting to get the progress monitoring blahs. We still monitor using DIBELS, but we've added AIMSweb monitoring in early numeracy and writing. So, out of the week, I'm progress monitoring three different times. I feel like I have even less time to teach. Then, add in the amount of time it takes to enter the scores online, and I'd say I'm spending about 3 hours a week on progress monitoring my class. That's too much. Anyone else feel the same way?
