I have read in prior discussions where there have been teachers to leave midyear and some even walked off job and have been able to get positions about a month or two after. I am just wondering if they put the school on the resume that they left or just omitted it altogether. I did read where some just omitted school altogether. I have only worked at my school for a month. I resigned due to med reasons. I am thinking that if I am able to get better, I would like to apply somewhere out of county but only use school from last year as a reference being that the principal knows me better over there. Please assist.

OMIT it! There is not reason to list it esp. for just a month. I worked somewhere for 2 months and did not list it on my resume. I am even now working in the same county 2 years later and they still hired me back with it omitted on my resume. I was confidently prepared to explain why I omitted it if they asked. Don't worry about it. Either way, just have a statement on why you only stayed 1 month. Life happens. It's just a month of your life. Just stay positive!

Thanks for the encouragement!

Thats what I was wondering how to go about it. I actually left due to medical reasons, which they were partly the reason. I am trying to go out of the county now, but I was wondering if I ever tried to come back, should I list it then. My only concern is that if they call my previous supervisor from first school and ask why I left, she may say to transfer to another school. I have only worked for two schools in my career. The last school for five years and the previous school. I am probably going to speak with former supervisor she is cool! Iguess??

Thanks for the encouragement again! I appreciate it!
