So for my library media grad class I need to write a bibliographic essay on the topic of the Internet. Yes, I know the topic is big. I am trying to figure out which main ideas to include and was thinking to focus it on pros and cons of internet for patrons and pros and cons for librarians. Do you have any other ideas? TIA

I chose to do mine on evaluating internet resources. It was very interesting how much "junk" is out there and if you are going to teach 3rd grade or above it will be a skill that you willl want to include in your lessons. I found a web page through my research that was made by teachers to show students how some sights that look reliable just aren't. Here's the link to the Pacific Northwest Treetop Octopus. Totally made up but looks so believable! It fooled my teenage daughter who is a gifted student so it really proves the point that everything you find on Google is not true info!
