Our school is looking to put a TV in our lobby area. We would like the TV to run pictures, information, and other events at our school. We were thinking about putting all the information on a powerpoint and having it run constantly.

I got put in charge of this and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions about how to set this up. I have some ideas...but anything from someone who has done this would help a bunch. The TV and computer would be set apart from each other. Is there way to hook them up wirelessly? Or would it be easier to run a cable?

We're buying everything with boxtop money so we are starting from scratch. Any suggestions of equipment (TV, computer, hook up ideas) would be appreciated.

We have a flat screen tv hanging on the wall of our foyer. It scrolls through pictures of events at the school and students and staff. It also scrolls through important dates and upcoming events. The teachers, kids and especially parents love it. Not sure how it is hooked up.

We run our info through our in-school student news channel - after the morning news show which is shown on every campus tv including the admin waiting area. We use a ppt show that runs on a loop - students in our broadcasting class come up with all of the "advertisements" (events, news, announcments, etc) and also add in pictures of "campus life" - these are updated each morning.
