I would once again like to thank you for the time and effort you invest in making task cards to share. I have printed many of them and used them in Literacy Centers. My students just love working with them! We have all benefited so much. I love the literature cards and they have really helped my kids to strengthen comp. skills. Would you please consider the following titles:
The Story of Ferdinand
Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Type
Little Rabbit's Loose Tooth
Three Cheers for Tacky
I will still be keeping up with you and printing your task cards over the summer.
I send them home for parents to cut up for me.
Hugs and may the Lord bless you and your family today, tomorrow and always.
I look forward to using the variety of task cards my first year of teaching in August! My main concern in 3rd grade is teaching skills to accommodate the FCAT but with the use of the task cards I feel they will help tremendously! THANK YOU!!
I see the awesome list of task cards, but I don't know how to get to them.
Do I have to type in: http:---------?
I have tried to copy the: http:------- so I could paste it in but it will not let me.
Please help, I am running out of time and all I see are how wonderful these Unseen task cards are.
Thanks so much- five sharks
You are the most awesome, generous person ever!! I just started back in 2nd grade after being in 3rd for 12 years. I had no resources. My second graders are loving these task cards. They allow me to challenge those that I can while still teaching required skills. Can be used whole group, small group, or individually!!!!
Thank you so much, I just found your task cards and I love them. More importantly, my students love them. Thank you!!!!!! I have noticed that some people request cards. Do you have cards for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl or any of the other Roald Dahl books? I am doing a year long author study and they would be great! Thank you.
This is a big all-encompassing thank you for all the task cards you make! I look for your indexes so I can help other teachers at school find things they need as well. I noticed you aren't posting on the board in general, but sending to individuals who request the cards. I know we are super-swamped at our place, so I'd like to than you again for the index that let's us know what's new. Please know that, from all of us in the southernmost town in the USA, we appreciate ALL you do!
I know you have heard this a lot from a lot of fellow teachers, but truely THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! Your task cards have saved me and really helped to enhance the learning in my classroom!
Unseen.... Thank you so much for all that you do. My teammates and I have used so many of your cards. We use them in table groups with old Candyland gameboards, for class Jeopardy, in our at risk groups, etc. etc. etc. They are perfect!!!
We would love to see a set on correct usage of transitional words. Our 4th graders are having difficulty choosing the correct transitions in their writing. We have a list of transitions, but they really struggle with their correct usage. For example, they might write.... however, I also like pizza instead of additionally, I also like pizza.
I echo the sentiments of so many others. Thank you so much for your willingness to share these creations. The kids love it far more than a worksheet and I greatly appreciate the work you have put in on them. I especially love using them for small group reteaching sessions.
You are such the queen of task cards and I have loved getting to use them and learning new ways to incorporate them in my reading classes. I wanted to ask you if you had any task cards for The CandyMakers by Wendy Mass? I am excited to start this novel with my special ed class of 7th graders as it is a high interest book on their age level, but also at a vocabulary level that they are comfortable with and I would really love having task cards for activities for them.
Also, if you have read the book, if you did any good warm-ups or pre-reading activities with kids to introduce it.
Please include me in your mailing list of task cards. Just today, we used some of your task cards in class. My email address is Lra3001@gmail.com.
I hope you are feeling much better today. Hugs to you and gratitude.
I heard about these task cards on a blog and they were highly recommended. Now I see why! Thank you for creating a list of all the sets you have...and more importantly, thank you so much for sharing such great resources.
Unseen, do you have time in your busy schedule to make some task cards for the story Tiger Rising by Kate DiCamillo??? My students just loved your task cards for There's A Boy in the Girl's Bathroom. Thank You in advance!! Patty P
Thank you for EVERYTHING you do! You are incredibly generous. I love using your task cards in a variety of ways. My students are always asking to use the cards as well! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
I am new to this forum. I am absolutely amazed at the work you have done, your generousity, and your incredible organization. I am tired because I have spent the last 18 hours or so downloading the cards I thought I would use this year! (No, I am not crazy. I have had sites unexpectly disappear on me when I was counting on them to be there forever. So, now I am a little paranoid.)
Thank you so much for this!
I am so excited!!!!!!!
ALLLLLLL I can say is God has sent ALLLLLLL teachers a teacher's angle who knows our needs and hears our cries!!!!! Lord knows we have A LOT to do and YOUR generosity, time, and love for what you do has taken a little off our load!!!! You are APPRECIATED!!!!
You are awesome and a life saver!! My kiddos love your task cards and are excited when I get them out. Thank you sooo much for all of your hard work that you did and do on them and for sharing. You are wonderful!! Thank you so much.
