Grade level is doing an Asian/Chinese theme this year and I'm completely clueless with this theme...NEED HELP with catchy titles for my welcome back bb, classroom jobs, attendance, student work bb, general class info. bb, and also any ideas on classroom decor.

Not sure I can be much help, but lady bugs are considered good luck along with dragons. Kites are also a popular motif. Panda bears would be fun to use as well.

Is there a website where you can write your student's names in English, and they then get written in Chinese? Maybe you could also write "Welcome to Third Grade" in English for a display, but also write it in Chinese.

I would try to use it as an educational opportunity to teach your students about the different Asian cultures. Can each classroom pick one?

Some possible symbols for some of the countries:
China-lucky money, cherry blossoms (or fans, lanterns, dragons)
Japan-origami, Manga cartoons
Korea-kimchi
Thailand-Elephants, wats
etc.

By the way, Fortune cookies were invented in the United States.
