Blank electoral college vote map

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I'm looking for a blank map with only state names and electoral votes for each state labeled. All I seem to find are already coded red, blue, and undecided. Would like my class to fill in the colors for the states on their own maps on Wednesday, count up the electoral votes...all of this after making predictions from looking at the online maps on Tuesday.....anyone know of such a printable map??? Thanks

Go to - http://www.270towin.com/

Between Texas and Florida (haha) you can select a starting view and choose "blank map"

Hope this helps!

Scholastic magazine online has a map with the number of electoral votes in each state, but no colors.

It took a little bit of time, but I researched the 2012 Electoral College numbers and added them to an outline map of the US (with state names) that I found online.

Did you get the scholastic map to print? I only get a plain blue sheet. The other one works just fine, tho. Thanks for the help!

What else do you use to teach the electoral college to elementary students?

grace for President is the perfect book to go with a lesson on Electoral college. I am using the 270towin map with my kids as well.

Visual based on number of electoral votes

I have a projector in my classroom, so I also like http://elections.nytimes.com/2012/electoral-map
because it gives the kids an idea of the relative number of electoral votes each state has in a visual way. I guess it could be printed if you can't project it.
