You could list the items found in a Whoville home (one tree, 35 presents, two turkeys...) and the students could determine how many items the Grinch stole based on the number of houses. maybe given a grid of the town, students could put items in the correct objects given the coordinates. (draw the town tree in B,12)

I pulled this Reader's Theater from Proteacher last year.
Just search PT and it comes up.

Found it! I also printed off the words to the grinch song. We are going to highlite the adjectives and similes and then do a project with them. I made templates of a grinch face and they are going to write adjectives describing the grinch. We will write similes and hang them in the hallway with pictures. I have a word search activity, math problems and games, and we will be having a grinch feast - green punch, green rice krispie treats, and "who pudding"(green of course). Looking forward to the craziness...oh my gosh, what was I thinking!

This sounds like so much fun! Where did you come up with all of your activities? It would be nice to do something different for a change. I will check out the other posts and see what I can come up with.

Thanks ConnieWI! I want credit given where it belongs! I just searched PT for grinch activities and found lots of information. The kiddos will love this.
