I added a gifted endorsement to my Florida certificate. If I move to another state, will my endorsement still stand or do different states have different criteria in order to teach gifted students?

As this map suggests, it depends what state you are referring to. Each state funds GATE differently. You might even need to contact the district directly to determine what they require. I'm in CA and it really depends on the district. Of course the more education, training, or experience you have the better. Where are you thinking of teaching?

Thank you for the link! Actually, California! There is a chance that my SO will be transferred to the Lake Forest area within the next few years.
