lesson planning question

I am wondering how lesson planning is done for your Title One groups? At our school we have a Title One Teacher who has five paraprofessionals working with her. Only the Title One Teacher is a certified positiion, although most of our paraprofessionals have teaching degrees (not all of them have taught in a regular ed classroom). We, as classroom teachers are asked about our weekly goals/topics for reading. They try to base their weekly plans to coordinate with ours.

My question is this--For those of you who have a Title One Teacher and paraprofessionals working together, who writes the lesson plans for the paraprofessionals?

I write my own plans. Most of the materials I use are from canned programs.

Classroom teachers write plans for their grade level aides, and the special ed teachers write plans for their aides.

Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) is used for tier 2 reading students. SRA and other canned programs are used for tier 3 students.

Math Recovery is used for tier 2 math students. SRA and other canned programs are used for tier 3 students.

Our State Dept. of Public Instruction (Wisconsin) has an approved list of materials for tier 2 and tier 3 interventions. Each district gets to choose from this approved list, and then purchases their choices.
