NEED ADVICE: Do I retest?

My students completed an online assessment Friday. A chunk of students (10 out of 170) did not finish and the test deleted their responses since they did not complete the assessment (I did not know this aspect of the program.) Out of the 160 that did test, 100 of them failed miserably, missing super easy responses due to minor typo or spelling errors, so the test results are not truly accurate to their knowledge.

I am at the point of considering giving the test on paper again tomorrow, but then I'm stuck rushing to enter their scores by 9pm for grades.

Do I retest on paper or do I wait until after the grading period ends to retest?

Thanks!

If you got enough data on your kids you shouldn't have to. It really depends the purpose of the (re)testing.

I agree with the pp on having enough data not to retest. However, is it a valid reflection of hat your students know? I have found so many online tests are not always the most accurate. My students like paper tests much better, but I still throw in online tests due to our state tests being online only.
