Classroom library and how to organize?

I started collecting books for my classroom library since my second year of college. I am an early childhood education major and now my small pile of books has started to overflow. I would love to jot down some ideas for the best way to organize my classroom library. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You could sort by topic, genre, subject, DRA levels, etc.

I would definitely try to organize the books in bins that are labeled. I would have one bin for seasons, several bins for different genres, a bin for chapter books, a bin for picture books, and a bin for holidays. Making the library labeled and categorized helps keep the library organized and helps teach the students what different types of books are and what they look like.

I have always found it helpful to organize your books by title especially since you're teaching early childhood. I would label bins by the alphabet and put it on your bookshelf. What also might be helpful is if you ask the students to organize your books by title so they can practice their letters.
