I teach SPED for 4th and 5th graders and am looking for books that will excite them about reading but are written at 2nd-4th grade levels for guided reading groups. They really loved Wonder as a read aloud last year. Any recommendations? I feel like the really good books I know are a bit too difficult.

Have you heard of High Noon Books? They specialize in making high interest books at low levels. Here's the site: http://www.highnoonbooks.com/index-hnb.tpl

Thank you! I have seen these before but my school doesn't have them and I didn't think to add them to my budget this year. I'm thinking books or chapter books that I could get from the library until I get the money to buy some favorites or the books from your link!
