Clip to ScrapBook #1

Hi
I am working with 3-5 year old special needs children this summer. They are very active and many of their ESY goals are following directions,.....lots of social skills. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or activities I could probably use with these kiddos.
Thank you
Cathy

Do you typically teach ECSE? To work on following directions, attention span, and social skills in my classroom I use:
-Task boxes (with defined start/finish)
-Board games (like Connect 4, Operation, memory) to practice back/forth turn taking skills
-Sensory bins (to practice back/forth turn taking skills)
-First/Then boards or work systems depending on student level
-Visual timers

If you have specific goals you need to target I can help think of activities
