Grammar Workshop by Sadlier Oxford. If you go to the website grammarworkshop.com, you can see their extra practice page, which will show you what each chapter contains. It doesn't have a lot of student practice (but you can supplement with the website materials) but it is written well for the kids to understand.

Exercises in English by Loyola Press. I teach 5th grade and my students scores are always really high.

I am going to use a program called Easy Grammar. Others in my building have used it and rave about how well the students understand grammar after using this program.

We use Zaner-Bloser's Grammar Usage & Mechanics (aka, "GUM"). Our principal purchases the student workbooks only, and that's plenty. Perhaps you can get your hands on one copy and teach from there.

Ideas by Jivey Mentor Sentences

I stumbled across Ideas by Jivey Mentor Sentences on Pinterest and I'm so excited to try it this year with my third graders. Go to TPT and search Jivey and you will find tons of freebies. Youtube has a video of a demonstration lesson. Basically you are using a picture book to teach grammar in totality (not isolation). I'm going to give it a shot.
