Hello, I am interested in investigating alternative seating options for my fourth grade classroom, especially but not limited to standing desks. I thought I would come to you first to see what has or has not worked for your classrooms. Thank you so much. Have a great year.

Our school has a couple of "swinging" desks. They came with a stool for a seat.
Both pieces of the set are heavier than typical classroom furniture, and higher
as well. There is a swinging foot bar attached to the back legs of the desk. While I made
space for it with a couple of students in mind, a number of students liked taking
turns using it. Because of its size, it fit best on the end of a group meeting table.
It saw use throughout the day.
