The kids were very sweet, and their perspective is so funny. I didn't realize I looked so much like Cousin It on stilts.

That's cute. A kid drew me as a big round beige circle, no clothes or anything. It's on my fridge.

What a sweet gesture! I'm sure that means a lot.

I love pictures and notes from the kids too, and that one's adorable!

I usually put mine on the fridge for a bit, and then I have a folder to keep them in.

Supermodel me has put the personalized drawing on the fridge. One of the firsties (not in the class I subbed for) saw me in the hallway and said, "You're skinny". Trust me, from his tone of voice, it was not meant as a compliment.

I particularly like the spelling of "Subsatoot!"

How cute!

The class next to me has a long term sub that started last week. I casually asked a couple of the kids as we were walking in how they liked the sub (I had her children and I like her!) and one girl said, "Yeah! She's a pretty neat chick!" I had to laugh!

Many moons ago, when I was a sub, a little boy kept saying your husband. I kept telling him I wasn't married. He finally said "I will marry you!". It wasn't so much sweet, but the conviction in his voice cracked me up.
