Let's Talk Rain Boots!

Can anyone recommend a good brand of rain boots that fit these criteria:

- doesn't feel like heavy blocks of cement on your feet, so lightweight
- flexible, easy to walk in
- feels sure-footed and not slippery while walking
- insulated and warm, but not too thickly insulated
- comes in a few fun colors/patterns and not just black
- not too, too expensive as in $75+

TIA!

Not sure where I bought them but Amazon carries them. I also sho at Zappos often.

They are comfortable and cost less than $75 dollars. I have never felt like I would slip or slide in them. Since they are made of a plastic or something similar they do keep your feet warm. Puddles does carry fun designs other that solid black. I have the leopard ones and they are fun to wear. I will say that they are difficult to pull off sometimes. But then I do not have skinny calves. My legs get a little sweaty in them as I am very hot natured. Then the sweat makes the boot stick to my skin.

I also agree with Amiga's recommendation of Hunter rain boots! I was resistant to paying more for rain boots for awhile and then broke down and got Hunter boots. I love them! Worth spending the extra few bucks!

Chiming in to say I love my Hunter boots! I have boot socks as well for when I want more warmth. Definitely try them on - size runs a bit large.
