Clip to ScrapBook #1

Posted this in the Lounge. Nobody had any info. Hoping some of you may have had experience with it?
My gyno recommeded this procedure to me.

This procedure it not covered by insurance and is rather expensive especially to someone who seldom has medical procedures. Just wanted to know if anyone had any personal insights to offer before I commit to it. Thanks.

I agree with the poster on the main board who suggested you get a 2nd opinion (from a different physician and preferably one who doesn’t perform the procedure herself). I would hesitate to follow the advice of a physician who was benefiting financially from the procedure he recommended.

I tend to agree somewhat. However, I have seen this same gyno for more than 25 years. This is the same one who years ago did my hysterectomy, in fact. Always very well researched in opinions and treatments and changes prescriptions based on changes in medical reviews. I am not really sure who else to ask as I have already reached out to some nursing friends who had no information about it either. There is no big rush to begin the treatment as I already have scheduled multiple dental treatment appointments as well as the eye doctor to accomplish, then Christmas bills. Perhaps I will keep doing research and do the treatments in the new year or even spring.
