I have read all your posts about him and can't imagine the heartache your family is going through. I will pray for them.

Just remember it is so hard to stay clean and so easy to use again. I think she needs to talk to him and get moving quickly to get him help. I know when people stop smoking it takes nine tries on the average to stop for good. I am sure it is an even higher number of tries for recreational drugs.

I will say a prayer for your nephew.

Thank you... This is devastating. His body has been w/o drugs for 10 months. He can't use the same amount he used 10 months ago because his body wont be able to handle it. He swore to my sister that he wasn't on anything. She is positive! He seriously thinks no one can tell especially her. He comes over like he's normal! That's what drugs does to a person, him. It makes him not see rationally.

How very sad. It is so true that it is very hard to stop and very easy to start again. A few people I know have been dealing with this for years with family members. It seems as if this is our new normal
My prayers are with your sister, her son and all loved ones.

Ugh, I am SO sorry. It sucks. How devastating for your sister and all of your family. It is frustrating, but heroin just seems to get a hold on people.

It just sucks. I wish there was more we could do to help. I am glad that this is being recognized as the crisis it is.
