This was the text conversation with my DD last night. Sorry, multiple screen shots to read. I only wish the gifs would play.

That is truly hysterical AND sounds like many conversations I've had with my DDs.

The group texts between the three of us are the best.they usually start with one of them proclaiming their favored child status.

I was assuming this was a teenager before the whole grandchild thing came into play. I guess I'm lucky I have boys because I've never had conversations like this with my adult children. They're pretty low maintenance.

That is hysterical. This in my screen shot of my conversation with my 17 yo. He has to tell me when he gets to class. I never get anything else.

The conversations with DS are the total opposite of his sister. Usually, just one word or an entire novel. Depends.

I was worried with your first post, but as the messages went on I began to see the humor. We have become a texting society and even with the convenience, I guess we sometimes feel ignored.

She wasn't feeling ignored. She does stuff like this when she's bored or just to torment me. She knows I find it funny.

(thanks for adding what happens in the gifs)

i keep telling DS (away at college) to send pics--he sent one THAT I TOOK of him and a buddy at prom. and a couple different times part of his leg.

he wants money, so i told him it wasn't being sent unless i got a decent pic. hurrah! success!

Now that mom isn't being the spoiled rotten three year old (dad currently is) we have had a few funny conversations.

This was Halloween.
