I just found a great site called classkick.com. It allows you to see what the kids are working on in real time. You can make comments as they work, grade as they go and they can virtually raise their hands and ask questions.

Itís super simple, interactive and really allows you to interact with them on a digital platform.

I love it. Kahluablast, for some reason I thought of you. I think this would be right up your alley.

. I was googling it before I read the last lines!

I was so impressed with my kids today. I had them do a comic using storyboardthat on one of the things they have been doing in our STEM class. They had not used it before. As part of that I had them take a screen shot (also first time), and post it on a padlet. Out of 67 kids, it looks like I got 64 posted on (might have been a couple absent) the padlet in about 45 minutes. They aren't the greatest comics, but that was a huge undertaking with all the new things. I wasn't going to be surprised if no one got anything done and posted. Fun day!

Storyboard is one thing I havenít tried and would like to. Maybe after break. We donít have Chromebooks and, as Iíve whine about incessantly here, it really ties my hands.

That is impressive.

Here is our padlet if you want to see what they did. As you can tell, some got it done, some did not, but everyone got something up. Quality is iffy on many as they didn't exactly follow the directions, but only one person did something completely off track. The next time quality will be better, I believe.

I like the classkick thing, but I started my class using seesaw just a couple weeks ago. You can't communicate irt, but.... too many new things and ways to do things. I will definitely remember classkick though for the future. Did you use it, or just discover it?

I love the padlet. How long did it take?

I did the classkick thing. I really liked it. I agree, too many new things and ways to do new things. There's so many great things out there and not enough time to them. My students are really guinea pigs. I hear about something and I try it out on them. Some things are winners and some things (Mentiment) are not.

I use padlet all the time. It doesn't take any time at all to set up.

The kids took about 45 minutes doing the storyboards and getting them onto the padlet. Should go quicker next time and content should be better.
