Clip to ScrapBook #1

We used this for the topic of winter, but it could be for any topic. You could use it for voice, expression, point of view of characters etc.
The beginning student has a sign with a frown on it. He/she holds up the sign and describes a challenge about winter.
Ex. This morning it was so cold our car wouldn’t start, and we were late for school.
He/she passes the frown to the next person who flips it around to a smile.
That person may say something like “My brother and I built an awesome snow fort last night in our back yard.”
The sign is passed to the next person in line (or random order) and is turned to a frown and the pattern continues, ending with a smile.
It could also be used for a quick assembly presentation.
