Go Math curriculum

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Anyone teach the Go Math? This is my 4th year teaching it and I would like to hear how others manage their math block. I have a 90 minute math block. I start with a quick warm-up (problem of the day), Mini-lesson, independent work from the book, small group instruction and a couple of enrichment worksheets. I started doing rotations (4 groups)in which I do the mini lesson with each group. I really like teaching the small groups but it's really hard to get everything in during the 20 min. rotation. I really DO NOT like teaching whole class lessons. I find it is hard to keep their attention and that it is not best practice. I just want to find a better way to teach math.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.
