Do you have a 'uniform' you wear to work? I wear leggings and a dress most days. I sometimes wear leggings and a sweater. I have really nice warm fleece/velour leggings I wear with long tunics.

I've been watching so many shows on TV about the 50's and 60's and everyone dressed so beautifully. I want to dress like that!!!

I usually wear dark wash skinny jeans/skinny cords with a tailored long sleeve blouse .I layer on top with sweaters and short jackets. For shoes in the winter I wear ankle boots, some with fleece and some without.

I lived the 50s & 60s...and I would not go back. Heels and stockings and girdles, long line bras, dresses, white gloves and hats, and for sure, lipstick! Plus the accessories...Nope!

I wear nice stretch pants (Perfect Fit Pants by LL Bean...they look like dress pants and have pockets), knit tops, and clogs. Comfy, pulled together, and easy to mix and match. No ironing or other special care. No need to change to a housedress and apron when I get home. And I can sit, walk up stairs, and even climb on a desk with complete modesty.

I rotate between:

1. Dress, long cardigan, and leggings
2. Dress pants, nice sweater / blouse, boots
3. skinny cords, tunic, boots or flats

Actually I'm retired so I don't wear anything to school. My last year was a rough one due to health issues. My 12 pair of LLBean tan pants, numerous polo shirts which met dress code, and my Crocs which didn't but were comfortable were the back bone of my wardrobe. It became a joke that if I had on a red shirt I was preparing to be a Target greeter, blue shirt Walmart. I added my classic wool blazer or a sweater on cold days.

If I were teaching today. I'd be wearing classic pants, tunic type shirts, simple jewelry, and a low heeled comfortable shoe. I'd buy a whole new wardrobe.

When I started we wore dresses, panty hose, and heels. My ironing board was always out.

Depends on the day:
- fit and flare dress with tights
- chino type pants with a nice top
- Jeans with a sweater (only on Friday)
- Ballet flats, booties or regular boots depends on the weather.

Our dress code is very casual. We're allowed to wear jeans as long as we look "put together" and they don't have rips or holes.

Most days in the winter, I wear skinny jeans with tall boots and some type of sweater. I have one day per week that's designated for IEP meetings and other sped meetings (I have a high caseload). On that day I typically dress a little nicer, usually dress pants with a nice top or a dress with boots and tights. No one would really care if I wore jeans on those days either, but I just feel a little bit more confident leading the meetings in more "professional" outfits.

I'm super self-conscious about the "leggings as pants" thing, so I only wear them every once in awhile to work with this one really long tunic that I have.

I never wear jewelry to work. We have to wear a lanyard every day, so that makes necklaces pointless, and I also wear my fitbit, so no room for a bracelet either. TBH I just never think to wear earrings unless it's a special occasion!

I have a lot more dresses for warm weather, so when it's warmer at least half of the time I'm wearing a dress and nice sandals.

Uniform

Sweater with either leggings or skinny cords/ pants and tall boots ( either black or brown depending on the outfit)

On fridays I usually wear jeans and a quarter zip sweatshirt

If I have an iep meeting I wear a dress and tights with my boots. I recently said I wonder if anyone noticed that I almost always wear the same dress to meetings. Similar to the pp nobody mandate that I dress up on those days but I feel more comfortable.

I usually wear black pants, my school tee or a solid v-neck tee, and a cardigan or zip-up workout style "jacket" or my school jacket/hoodie (that rarely comes off, so I'm not usually in just a tee). Sometimes I'll wear a skirt, but I'm in kinder and on the floor a lot so it's rare. I'd honestly love to have a uniform!

I usually wear dress pants, dressy blouse, and a cardigan. Sometimes I will wear jeans (I dress them up) or a dress with boots.

In the winter Im usually in dress pants and a nice top or a sweater. When it warms up I wear dresses a lot. I need to find some leggings and wear some dresses in the winter too.

Our school is very casual, thank goodness! I tend to wear jeans with a sweater or nice top. I wear shoes that are comfy, like Easy Spirit or Sketchers. Comfort is key when you are on the floor, or climbing on chairs putting up a bulletin board, or teaching P.E.

I only wear long skirts with a top everyday. I wear knee high stockings. I hate nylons.
